YC Events was founded in Colombo in 2018 with a single indoor LED wall and a simple belief: event organisers in Sri Lanka deserved better equipment and more reliable crews. At the time, LED walls were hard to source, expensive to operate and usually arrived with freelance technicians who had never worked together before.
We spent the first years building our own team, buying our own equipment and running every event ourselves. No subcontracting. No agency workers. Every operator who works an event is directly employed by YC Events, trained on our equipment and accountable to us.
Today we run LED walls, stage builds, sound systems, exhibition stalls and digital podiums across all 25 districts. From hotel ballrooms in Colombo to open-ground rallies in Jaffna, from wedding halls in Kandy to award ceremonies in Galle. The same standard. The same crew. Every time.
